On a day when the country has ground to a halt because of snow I'm sure many people will be cranking up their heating systems. Many won't be worrying too much about their bills - but an increasing number will be.
Fewer will be worrying about the impact of their gas and electric use on the environment - but at least now it's become vogue for politcians to talk about it, and with any luck action.
One of the things I hope they follow up on is: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/7862696.stm biogas from our rubbish and sewage - it just makes sense!
